This has been an old dicussion between experts but many still believes that bitcoin will pass gold in capitalization.
In my opinion, bitcoin can really pass gold "in terms of monetary value" but bitcoin is so volatile that it can straight go up to the moon or go down the drain while Gold will always remain Gold.
