First of all, if you want to know about status abnormalities, you need to know about the "Pokemon Check" step in the game.
Pokemon Check is the process of dealing with the state at the end of a turn.

A Pokémon with a special condition can be restored by returning it to the bench.
Also, the status disappears as it evolves, and can be dispelled using card effects.

And 1 damage counter means 10 damage!

- Status abnormalities that can overlap with other status abnormalities

1. poison

attach

Poisoned Pokémon are marked with a poison marker.
Poisoned Pokémon raise their damage counters by one during the Pokémon check phase on both sides.
Poison can be applied concurrently with other special states.

2. Burn

attach

Burned Pokémon are marked with a burn marker.
A burnt Pokémon throws a coin during the Pokémon check phase.
If you toss a coin and it comes up heads, you recover from burns, and if it comes up tails, the effect lasts.
Burns can also be applied simultaneously with other special conditions.

- From this point onward, it cannot be duplicated with other status abnormalities.

3. Fall asleep

Sleeping Pokémon are displayed by placing their cards horizontally.
Sleeping Pokémon cannot use moves or retreat.
Each turn, each time you check a Pokémon, you toss a coin to decide whether or not to recover.
Toss a coin and it wakes up when it comes up heads, and lasts when it rolls tails.

It can overlap with poison and burns, but when paralyzed or confused,
Instead of sleeping, it is replaced with a new special state.

4. Paralysis

Paralysis is also indicated by placing cards horizontally.
Paralyzed Pokémon cannot use moves and retreats, just like sleeping.
Paralyzed Pokémon will recover from Pokémon Checks on the next turn.

Paralysis can only stack with Poison and Burn, not with Sleep and Confusion.

5. Confusion

Confused Pokémon toss a coin when using a skill.
If it comes up heads, you can use the skill normally. If it comes up tails, the skill fails and you deal 30 damage.
Confusion can be restored by retreating.

Confusion also only stacks with Poison and Burn, not with Sleep and Confusion.
