A draft law on Russia suggests that investors shall pass and exam first before they can actually invest in crypto. The test will also determine the limit of the crypto investment that you can buy in a year.
The authors are also hoping to regulate cryptocurrency mining and cut access to cheap energy for those who mint coins in their homes.
I am still not sure about what the exam topics will be but if it is about crypto this will actually lessen the chances of someone being scammed in crypto since they will need to study the crypto market first so they can pass the exam.
