I remember finding out, when I first started learning about finance, that the government won’t give an 18 year old a $10,000 business loan but are more than happy for young people to take on $100,000+ in student debt and actually encourage them to do so
I was studying for a degree at the time and it really did open my eyes to how broken the system is. It led me to the decision of investing all the money I had in crypto, convinced that this was my opportunity to escape a life of fiat slavery
Four years later it is safe to say I made a good choice. After all, if you aren’t prepared to take risks when you are young and without responsibility then when can you?
If I could turn back the clock I never would have wasted three years studying for a degree so for all of you youngsters out there I implore you to think about what you really want from life
If you want to become a doctor, lawyer, biologist ect. then you will definitely need a degree but if, like most people, you have no idea what you want to do with your life then going to college/university for the sake of it isn’t a good idea
We now live in an era of endless opportunity due to the internet and there are countless ways to make money that simply weren’t possible before
Find something you are passionate about and dive head first into it. It doesn’t feel like work when you enjoy what you are doing are if you put the effort in the money will follow
Remember, time is the most valuable asset on earth and always will be, if you don’t follow your dreams then who will?
