GAO Suggests Tightening Regulations on Crypto ATMs. why? because they see that the use of crypto payments to facilitate illegal human and drug trafficking is rising, and the Government Accountability Office (GAO) is blaming crypto kiosks.
They think that the surge in crypto related crimes are also related to the ATM machines being less regulated than crypto exchanges and transactions are more difficult to trace.
