If you are into crypto or getting into crypto here are some words that you need to know so you won't be left out in the cold not knowing what others are talking about.
HODL. DApp may sound like alien language to new people getting into crypto thus, I am making this guide to help them familiarize themselves with some of the most common terms they will hear.
Number one in the list is ALTCOIN - this are coins that are not bitcoin, like: Ethereum. That is ALTCOIN
Next, BITCOIN - probably the first thing that you will know about, the first and most valuable crypto out there
Then, Blockchain - digital form of record keeping, and the underlying technology behind cryptocurrencies.
Finally COIN - this is not the coin you find on your wallet or purse, this coin is a representative store of digital value that lives on a given blockchain or cryptocurrency network.
Bonus, HODL or Hold for Dear Life (a term being used the community when they are holding their crypto, the term started as a typo on a forum and was used)
