Like he mentioned he’s speaking from a place of ignorance, but I hear him. A lot of NFTs are completely pointless with no real-world use cases.
People will either purchase them to make a profit or just simply to say they own this expensive NFT. 😄
On the other hand, the potential for NFT technology in the future is unmeasurable, but what we do know is that it’s going to be huge. 📈
For one example, when governments want to release their CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currency - something we don’t agree with) and everyone in society owns a crypto wallet, all ticket distribution companies will sell their tickets on the blockchain as an NFT.
So they can set up a contract inside the ticket that sends them a portion, e.g 5-10% of every secondary ticket sales. Which could also be the same for artists at music concerts. I could see Tyler using these in the future. 🎫
