I’m seeing the recurring theme of celebrities pulling out of NFT, crypto or Metaverse projects due to negative feedback from their supporters. I know it must simply come down to the lack of knowledge within the technology. 🧏🏾♂️
With NFTs in specific most people think they’re just glorified JPEGs of apes with no real utility or understanding of the technology.
Majority of the artists I would assume understand the tech but still have to withdraw from participating to save brand image. It’s upsetting but in the future people will see. 🌐
