Popular cryptocurrency exchange Uniswap was the dominant application on Ethereum throughout 2021, often responsible for >30% of the gas consumed by the top 20 entities.
However, usage of NFT marketplace @opensea exploded in 2021, and it was the only project which occasionally exceeded Uniswap usage (in September and October).
Well, once again the Opensea platform has tipped the scales, becoming the largest Ethereum based service on the market, proving how impactful NFT’s are becoming.
