Crypto mining was expected to be affected negatively due to protesters storming around government buildings to complain about surging energy costs, leading the country’s largest telecommunications provider to shut down access to the internet.
Mining takes a lot of electricity "some even consume more than what a whole country can consume" this is why a lot of country started to ban crypto mining (China for example).
Some mining farms moved to Kazakhstan after they got banned on China. Now, the country’s largest telecommunications provider, Kazakhtelecom, shut off internet access throughout the country, which will leave mining companies without the ability to mine.
