Simply because I was too lazy make a Magikarp evolve lol. I think I could put it in a day care, put it as my starting Pokemon, switch out, and it will get an exp. But it was too tedious for me so I never had the chance to have a Gyarados lol. Were you able to have this in your lineup in your Pokemon playthroughs?

Only Gyarados I remember having was the red one you can catch in Gold/Silver.
This pokemon for me is so rewarding if you manage to let him/her evolved it's strong.
I never ever tried to raise gyarados it's pretty tedious to raise a magikarp and evolve it to a gyarados.
Haha, haven't tried it myself as well. I'm just too lazy to make it evolve.
