Lapras is based on the Loch Ness Monster at Scottish Highlands in Scotland.
Has the highest base HP of ALL Ice-type Pokemons.
Due to it's mild-nature, it is an easy prey for Human hunters. Hunted for it's prized parts driving the specie to near extinction. Horrible.
