This is the reason why I always start work exactly on time (8AM) even if I arrived early — and I also always leave work exactly on time!
I also do not answer any work related inquiries during my off (I mean it’s called “off” for a reason)
My work? I can always get replaced and I can always replace my work— but I can’t replace my family ♥️ and the precious time I have with them!
I mean I work 5 days a week and 8 hours a day! I lit spend more time working than spending time with them ? — that’s why I do my best to go home on time I DO NOT DO OVERTIME NEVER even if its paid and They can’t contact me on a weekend or holiday
I make sure to use all of my available leave credits (we can monetize it but I prefer not to — coz a leave means vacation and it means I can spend time at home!)
I do hope bosses realize that we all need rest and we also have our lives outside of work.
