I love seeing the early days of development in new technologies.
Just like the super early prototypes of aircraft we look back at it with what we now know works and think "How did they ever think that was a good idea?".
It's not until you see these photos that you realise things aren't as obvious as you might think and Images like these are a nice reminder of that fact.
That is a nice illustrations or pictures for knowing that the controller has different prototypes. Thanks for sharing.
For some reason, I feel discomfort looking at these.
They all look weird now that we have the default Playstation controller. The fourth pic looks like a copy of the NES controller haha.
Makes sense since they worked with Nintendo first in creating the console. It got canceled at some point so Sony just made the console themselves.
These are all actually so terrible
