I am not by means a new player to Tekken. I've been playing since at least the 3rd game but you learn something new with this game everyday. It helps a lot that it's community is filled with people that are happy to help you.

So far from what I've seen, the community of fighting games has little toxicity in it. Compare to FPS and MOBAs.

Basically, yes. It's very rare that you find toxic people because people in the FGC actually want their game to have more people in it.
