The decade-old question, which MOBA game is better? League of Legends or Dota 2?

I have played Dota 1 since the days of Red Alert and Command and Conquer but stopped when Dota 2 came out. I have also played LoL for 8 years now. For aesthetics and game design, I'll have to go with LoL.
