A (NFT) created from Nelson Mandela's original arrest warrant is sold for $130,000 in an auction to fund a heritage site documenting South Africa's struggle for democracy.
The CEO of Momint, an NFT marketplace, Ahren Posthumus said the proceeds from the sale of NFT will be donated to the Liliesleaf heritage site, which received the original warrant for Nelson Mandela's arrest in 2004. Last year, the museum received US$ 50,000 following an NFT auction of a pen gun belonging to freedom fighter Oliver Tambo.
