Yuga Labs, creators of the Bored Apes Yacht Club (BAYC) non-fungible token (NFT) collection, teased the launch of its metaverse called Otherside, coming in April.

The teaser video released by Yuga Labs on Saturday featured Yuga Labs NFTs including Mutant Ape Yacht Club and newly acquired CryptoPunks and Meebits.

ApeCoin, which was launched last week by ApeCoin DAO, will serve as the native token for the virtual world.

ApeCoin was trading at US$10.28 at press time with a trading volume of US$1.4 billion in the past 24 hours.
