Trading platform Coinbase has blocked 25,000 wallet addresses linked to Russian accounts. The action taken by Coinbase were made over fears that the accounts could be used to skirt economic sanctions put on Russia
I have read on an earlier news that coinbase and binance will not be blocking / freezing Russian wallets but I guess coinbase decided to move and block Russian wallets to avoid it being used by Russia and avoid sanctions
