Singapore is currently halting crypto ATMs.
Daenerys & Co., Singapore’s biggest operator of the machines, ceased its services to comply with the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s request.
The machines offered a convenient way for people to buy tokens like Bitcoin and Ether using fiat currency. But, I guess it was too easy that it did not sit well with regulators. Also having an easier way to buy crypto means an easier way to get scammed too.
Though, I still hope that after all the regulations are made they can resume operations.
