Good news, everyone. A new season of Futurama is coming.
Per the The Hollywood Reporter, the sci-fi comedy series will return once again, this time on Hulu. The streaming service has picked up the series for a 20-episode run, which will once again be helmed by original creator Matt Groening and showrunner David X Cohen. Many key members of the original cast will also return to reprise their roles, including Billy West, who played the time-displaced Fry, and Katey Sagal, who portrayed Leela, the one-eyed mutant captain of Planet Express' delivery ship. The show will also feature the return of voice actors Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr and David Herman. Notably absent from the confirmed cast listing is John DiMaggio, who voiced the abrasive girder-bending robot Bender, as DiMaggio is still finalizing his deal to return. The series will once again be animated by Rough Draft Studios.
