It really is unimaginable while the anime industry is booming in Japan, the animators there have low wages in comparison to the amount of work they do. But it's really happening. Imagine some of the best anime and the effort of the animators to make it. It is heartbreaking that the pay they receive is little compared to the effort they give.
This has been an issue ever since ? animators are getting paid per frame they do instead of an hourly pay —
Yeah, I've read something about this before on my Facebook feed and was surprised that they are underpaid.
I hope they had high wages because their job is difficult. I feel so sad for them.
I've seen a documentary about this. I think it's because manga/anime is an oversaturated industry there.
