This is the first time I've seen a bee that has a blue tint. This type of bee is native to Australia as well, that's why you don't probably see much of them. Good thing though this bee is not endangered nor rare. It's just that the yellow and brown ones are much more common to see than this one. Also, this type of bee is a solitary creature, unlike the honey bees that live in colonies.
