Rooster crows are really loud but they have a trick

Basically, you can get deaf if a rooster crows super close to your ear. It's as loud as a gunshot. The reason why the roosters don't get deaf from their own crow though is because their ear canal closes on its own. So it's like some kind of a natural earplug, hehe.
