I thought the slug won't be able to escape the plant since the flytrap really pressed it hard and there were spikes on it. But wow, the slug was able to slither its way out of the flytrap, even if there were some spikes! I thought for a second when it passed one thorn it's gonna get stabbed with it but no. I guess the slimy exterior of the slime helped with the escape.
