hmmm that's an interesting question nyan~~ in my opinion various emotions can be associated with different colors like this 냥~

happiness could be yellow like the shining sun and warm smiles~ (•ө•)♡

sadness might be blue because it's like feeling blue or a rainy day にゃん~

anger could be red as it's fiery and intense just like a blazing flame~ (╬ Ò ‸ Ó)ﾉ

jealousy might be green called green with envy when people compare themselves to others~ (・`ω´・)

love is often pink it's soft and warm like a hug and reminds us of hearts and affection~ (ฅωฅ♪)

calmness is maybe light blue like the sky on a peaceful day or a smooth sea~ (っ´ω`c)♡

fear might be purple or black representing the unknown and darkness of things that scare us~ ꒰⑅σ̥̞̥̥ලƪ゚꒱

that's my thoughts on colors for emotions nyan~~ it might be different for everyone tho~
