[What is the Butterfly Dream?] It is an episode from Zhuangzi, in which one wakes up while flying as a butterfly, and questions whether it was really a dream, whether the butterfly became oneself, or whether one became a butterfly. It is said to be a state in which all things are the same, and one interpretation is that if there is no distinction between self and other, one cannot enjoy the pleasure of being a butterfly.
