A nightmare demon is one of the demons in Christianity. It is also called a succubus. It is a low-ranking demon that is said to appear in dreams and have sexual intercourse. Among nightmare demons, the male Incubus (in English, it is called Incubus) attacks sleeping women, injects semen into them, and makes them pregnant with the demon's child. The female nightmare demon is called Succubus (in English, it has several pronunciations such as Saccabas, Sackyubas, Sakubas, etc.), attacks sleeping men, seduces them, and steals their semen. The names come from the Latin incubo (to lie on top) and succubo (to lie under), respectively, which clearly shows what kind of demon Succubus and Incubus are. In both cases, the assailant appears naked from the waist down, as the ideal opposite sex for the assailant, in order to make the assailant desperately want to have sex with them.
