The drama begins in Busan during the Japanese colonial period. The main character, Seon-ja, is a precious daughter born after her mother failed to give birth three times. However, Seon-ja's life is not easy when his father dies.
Seon-ja, who grew up like that, falls in love at first sight with a man named Han-su. However, Han-soo, who was a married man, does not marry her.
Then one day, a pastor from Pyongyang, Isaac, visits the boarding house of Seonja. When Isaac learns that Seon-ja is having a child by chance, Isaac recommends adoption, but Seon-ja says that he will raise the baby on his own. And Seon-ja accompanies Isaac on a boat bound for Osaka.
About 50 to 60 years later, Seon-ja became a grandmother in her 70s. A Zen resident of Osaka, Japan, awaits his grandson. Son's grandson Solomon is an elite working at an American investment bank, briefly dispatched to Japan for real estate investment in Tokyo. However, the real estate redevelopment project was strongly opposed by the Zainichi elderly. Solomon succeeded in attracting investment with the help of a prophet. Seon-ja wants to go to Korea again.
