Gyuki, together with Matatabi, was traded to the Hidden Cloud village; however, the nation found it hard to obtain a Jinchuriki who could really handle it. Blue B, the Third Raikage's nephew, was among them; then after Gyuki embarked on a rampage, the Raikage was compelled to seal him away, resulting in his nephew's untimely death. Gyuki was eventually sealed within Killer Bee, the Third Raikage's adopted son, who surprised everyone by proving to be a fit host. Their relationship became completely two-way, enabling the ninja to pull out Eight-Tails' power whenever he pleased. Gyuki was eventually re-sealed into Killer Bee after being forcibly taken from him during the Fourth Great Shinobi War.
